Nadia

Nadia

Nadia was the best cat I ever had. She was there to comfort me when both of my parents passed away recently. She was there to be a pest when I would try to study for an anatomy test. She seemed to think that her anatomy should be examined instead. She loved me at all times.

Nadia was also quite the talker. She would carry on conversations with me when given the opportunity. When I moved into an apartment with only myself and her, she demanded that I go get a feline companion for her so I did. I found a frightened young male at the local pound who was hours from being put to sleep. When I brought him home, she flipped him upside down when given the first opportunity. Within a few weeks, the two of them became inseparable. She even helped her new companion to get passed his fears and learn to love again.

One last thing about my Nadia was that she loved to snuggle more then any other cat I have ever known. At a very young age, she began crawling under the covers and cuddling up next to me. Sometimes, when I would go look for her, I would find her taking a nap under the covers as well. The best part, was seeing Nadia and Elijah either sleeping together or mutually grooming. The three of us were like a surrogate family. Now the apartment seems empty with out such a beloved part of the family. We miss you Nadia
