Buck was rescued from a shelter in September of 1995. He was a beautiful black lab. We knew he was meant for our family immediately. He was an excellent protector and took his job very seriously. He was diagnosed January 26th, 2002, and after a 6 month battle, the stoic creature was put to rest on June 29th. Even though he was half his original weight (115 to 57 lbs) and was partially blind he never, ever complained -- he continued to wag his tail.

He was a best friend and will be missed dearly.
